Arnold D. Cary, DVM
Dr.
Cary is a 1967 graduate of Cornell University. He began his career in
veterinary medicine in Cheshire, CT., where he worked in a mixed animal

five
years, in the same area of medicine. He returned to Connecticut to
establish Bethany Veterinary Hospital in 1976 in order to serve the community as
a mixed animal practitioner. In 1995, Dr. Cary began to focus on small
animal medicine and converted Bethany Veterinary Hospital to an
exclusively small animal practice. Dr. Cary's professional interests are
in both orthopedic and a wide range of soft tissue surgery.
Outside of the hospital, he has been a member of the Bethany Lions Club for over thirty years as well as being a member of his church choir, a board member of the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. In his spare time, Dr. Cary enjoys hiking and golfing. He is married with three children and lives with two cats.
