Angie

 

We have been fortunate to have Angie with us since 1990. Her job description encompasses nearly all jobs within the hospital - Office Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician.  She has a B.S. in Microbiology. 

 

Professionally, Angie enjoys taking classes and learning as much as possible about animals and their health. She also enjoys teaching others.

 

In her spare time (is there such a thing?), she enjoys antiques, upholstery, gardening, traveling and being a fun wife and mom. She lives with Odie, the yellow lab, three cats, twelve chickens, fish and maintains a safe distance from 70,000 bees in her husband's apiary.

Gina

 

One of our steadfast employees, Gina has been with us since 1984. She received a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University in 1991. She has also been a volunteer EMT and Firefighter for over ten years.

 

Professionally Gina enjoys emergency work, whether it be animal, human or firefighting. She would eventually like to take more classes that are animal related. In her spare time, she enjoys spending it with her family, friends and pets. She also enjoys sports and riding her quad. She has a German Shepherd, three cats and a cockatoo.

Kim

Kim has been with BVH since 1984 and is a Certified Veterinary Technician.  She received a B.S. in Animal Science from University of Connecticut.  Kim is a devoted wife and mother of one. 

During her free time, she loves to sew and cook. Her goals in life are to be healthy, live life and enjoy her job.

 Laura

Laura came to us with over fifteen years experience as a veterinary technician. You'll see her assisting the veterinarians in the exam rooms.

Working part time leaves her with an opportunity to do other things that she truly enjoys such as therapy visits with her dogs, obedience and agility trials and professional pet sitting. She is also involved in breeding beautiful, well-tempered Rottweilers. She is married, has a son, five dogs and a cat.
